Our client is a major commercial insurance brokerage able to provide an opportunity for relatively inexperienced insurance professionals to pursue a commercial broking career. This role comes with excellent training; system based and technical insurance training.
In this role you will be dealing with commercial insurance clients, mainly SME cases with annual premium spends up to £10k, this could be anything from package policies for shops and offices, restaurants, hotels etc. up to commercial combined policies for manufacturing and other slightly more complicated insurance policies.
You will join a fantastic team dealing predominately with existing clients, assisting them in making changes to their policies, speaking to insurers, placing cover etc.
This role will involve lots of clients contact as well as regular communication with insurance companies and “in house” underwriters.
Ideal applicants will have some element of insurance experience, preferably commercial although we will be happy to receive CV’s from those of you working within private clients and wanting to move into commercial. We are also open to considering brokers, underwriters, claims handlers and those of you working within insurance call centres looking to revert to a more traditional broking environment.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary + fantastic benefits, includes 27 holiday, private medical insurance, very generous pension contributions (way above average) + full financial support towards CII qualifications. This role is Monday to Friday, no weekends and can be part office / part home based (once the training is complete).
