Are you an experienced commercial account handler or SME insurance advisor looking to work your way towards being an account executive? If so, this could be the role for you! Our client is a long established independent commercial insurance brokerage in the Leeds area. They hold chartered status and are committed to providing support to all staff wanting to pursue the ACII qualification.
Due to their phenomenal growth, they have created two brand new “Trainee Account Executive” positions to join their Leeds team. This is a dual role, handling existing clients as well as working on incoming new business leads, which would be added to your growing client portfolio.
Although the role is predominately desk based at the beginning, the intention, as you gain experience, is for you to start going out on client visits and working on larger cases. It is important that you make the transition to full Account Executive comfortably and in your own time, so there won’t be any time scale pressure placed upon you, you also won’t be held back if you make rapid progress.
Ideal applicants will be ambitious and keen to be in a busy role with lots of client contact, enjoy building and developing client relationships and be keen to develop a long-term insurance career.
You will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience (broking or underwriting). Previous use of Acturis would be beneficial, although it’s not essential as full system training can be provided.
This role comes with an excellent starting salary, dependent on experience of up to £35k and with a commission structure on all new business wins + a full and comprehensive benefits package. Our client is conveniently located with plenty of parking; currently working on a 3 days office, 2 days from home basis.
