This is a great opportunity with a Leeds based independent chartered commercial insurance brokerage. This is a brand new role, which has been created due to the growth of the business. Our client is long established, conveniently located with plenty of parking and is able to provide flexible part home / part office working.
Due to a constant flow of quality incoming leads, the need has arisen to appoint a ”Desk Based Account Executive” to focus on these. These enquiries could be anything from smaller SME cases to larger mid-market enquiries, which could involve some client visitations, although initially, it will be mainly desk based.
Ideal applicants will have a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, be a strong communicator, dynamic and proactive with a natural inclination to convert your enquiries into new clients. You will retain your clients as a part of your growing portfolio.
It is anticipated that this role will naturally evolve into a full “Account Executive” position over the next 12 to 18 months with the usual perks (car allowance, flexible working etc.).
This role will appeal to ambitious applicants with at least 2 years commercial insurance broking experience, who enjoy dealing with new clients, building relationships. We are happy to hear from individuals who currently deal mainly with SME clients. Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, although not essential (full system training can be provided).
