Speciality Equine Underwriter - Essex/Leeds or Remote Working

We are very pleased to be working with our client on this Equine Trading Underwriter role who are one of the fastest growing MGA’s operating within the UK today.

This role could be based in their regional offices in Essex, or Leeds, or they would consider a fully remote arrangement.

Ideally you will have a minimum 3 years underwriting Equine risks, and his could suit someone who is looking to develop their career with a few years experience, or someone who is currently a Senior Underwriter. There could also be the opportunity for a succession plan and to lead the Speciality Equine team in the future.

The role involves underwriting transactional risks in the Leisure and Equine sectors in accordance with the binding authorities agreed with insurer partners. Underwriting responsibilities include quoting new business and renewals with cover currently provided on a Commercial Combined or Combined Liability basis. Working closely with Head of Specialty to develop broker and Insurer accounts throughout the UK.

You will be required to maintain and developing Agent relationships specific to the trading requirements of the company. Reviewing business issues with their Broker Account Managers and supporting the resolution as necessary.

They are offering an attractive base salary depending on experience which ranges from £40k to £60K, plus an attractive Pension, Bonus, PMI, Gym Memberships, Annual Travel Cover, and DIS.
