SME / Commercial Insurance Executive – East Leeds

Our client is a highly regarded independent commercial based in the East Leeds area. They are enjoying a fantastic period of growth and have a high number of new business enquiries coming in on a daily basis, which has resulted in a brand new role being created for an ambitious individual with a commercial insurance background.

As an SME Insurance Executive, you will be the focal point for new leads coming into the business, working on the SME cases (premiums up to circa £10k per annum), taking details from potential clients, going to market to secure the best deal in terms of both quality of cover and competitiveness of premium.

Although this role focuses primarily on new business, all enquiries are incoming, there is no cold calling or outbound sales and the focus needs to be on client service, quality of work and the pursuit of long-term quality client relationships based on providing the very best possible service.

This role would ideally suit an individual with at least 12 months commercial insurance experience, someone who enjoys to be busy, speaking to lots of different clients and insurers on a daily basis, securing deals and putting new clients on cover.

In terms of career progression, our client is keen to promote from within and is able to provide lots of options going forward, depending on what direction you see your career shaping over the longer-term.  Whether that be technical broking, moving into a client facing account executive role or perhaps into a management position.
