Job description
This is a new and exciting Senior Telephone Account Manager opportunity to work for one of the UK’s leading insurance companies where you will work the UK broker markets based in their Bolton operation. Although they may consider some working from home if desired, you would be required to be in the office a minimum of 1 per week, although they would encourage more.
You will be looking after an existing portfolio of insurance intermediaries focusing on retention and new business development. This is a Business Development Manager opportunity which requires someone to be sales focused.
You will need some previous experience of working with commercial insurance products from either an insurer or broking environment.
They are looking for someone who is eager and self-motivated to work in an exciting, challenging environment. You will be highly organised and able to build lasting relationships with the broker panel you will be responsible for.
Additionally, they are looking for:

JOB PROFILE
The Senior Telephone Account Manager is the first point of contact for the company’s brokers. You’ll account manage your panel of brokers by telephone, working with colleagues within the business (including underwriting) to deliver brilliant customer service and reach their financial targets. You will also understand and help to prepare, design, implement and review a broker’s strategic development plan. In addition to this you will appreciate the nature of the broker’s business, the marketplace and potential of the relationship to identify new business opportunities.
You will also be required to attend brokers visits as and when required.
There are 2 Senior TAM’s within the team, where you will lead from the front and at times help the other Account Managers with any problems or queries they may have

- Salary to £35k dependent on experience
- Annual bonus based on yours and business performance
