For the role as a Senior Mid-Market Fleet Underwriter based out of their Leedscity centre operation, you will be required to develop new business opportunities and also handle a portfolio of an existing portfolio. You will have a strong underwriting background and be used to dealing with complex cases and being the go-to person dealing with referrals. 

The key objective is to focus on profitable growth, generating new business, and retaining your existing renewal portfolio, whilst maintaining excellent service standards at all times and building long standing customer relationships. 

You would be responsible for looking after key broker Fleet accounts in the Yorkshire/Northeast regions and be able to trade and negotiate effectively.

The right candidate will be extremely approachable, confident, and capable of delivering outstanding levels of service both internally and externally, over the telephone and face to face, as the role will encompass a range of external customer meetings. You will need be visible in the market on a frequent basis and ideally have some existing broker relationships which can be utilised.

Very competitive basic salary up to £50K, bonus incentive and pension plus other employee benefits would be provided as standard. ACII or a commitment to continuous professional development would be advantageous.
