Job description
Our client is a quality independent insurance brokerage. They are well known for being an incredibly well respected business, with a high client retention and a low staff turnover + they are a significant contributor to community based projects.
Due to growth the need has arisen for an additional a broker / account handler to join the commercial team, dealing with mainly SME clients with premiums spends up to £20k.
You will be taking ownership of clients, providing new business quotations, making amendments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. This role requires a lot of direct client and insurer contact and would be best suited to an individual who enjoys being busy, has a good all round commercial insurance knowledge and has great attention to detail.
Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 12 months commercial insurance experience, 3 to 4 years preferred + previous use of Acturis (although training will be provided to those who haven’t used Acturis).
