This is a great opportunity to join a long established, independent and chartered insurance brokerage as part of their excellent commercial team. As part of the broking team, you will be providing support to a national network of Account Executives (a number of which will be allocated to you), working on a wide variety of exclusively commercial risks of varying size and technical complexity, generally mid-market risks with annual premium spends of £10k to £100k, although there is likely to be some larger cases, with significantly higher premium spends.

You will be assisting the AE’s by taking new risks to market, making amendments to existing policies and have involvement in the marketing and placement of renewals. You will be working with the Acturis system, so previous use would be beneficial, although not essential, as full system training can be provided.

Progress towards Cert CII would be preferred and will be full supported, both in terms of financial and the provision of study assistance.  

Ideal applicants will have at least 3 + years’ commercial broking or account handling experience, be high organised and with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be committed to producing a high level of client service at all times. This role comes with a basic salary of up to circa £45k + a full and comprehensive benefits package. Our client has a smart and appealing office set up, conveniently located and with plenty of parking.
