Fantastic opportunity to join a high quality West Yorkshire based insurance brokerage in a Senior Commercial Broker / Handler role. This brand new opening has become available due to the retirement of a longstanding member of the team.

In this role, you will be primarily be focusing on the larger more technical commercial and corporate cases, working closely with a number of Account Executives and Account Directors, providing quality support, assisting with new business opportunities, making adjustments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewal terms. 

With this role, there will be a greater emphasis on broking, with the opportunity to take a lead where insurer negotiations are concerned. This is likely to involve meeting with key insurers on a reasonably regular basis to develop quality relationships.

Ideal applicants will have a good level of broking experience, ideally at least 5 years or more and with a solid commercial insurance knowledge across most classes of business. Progress towards CII qualifications would be beneficial and full study support will be provided.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary up to circa £50k (flexible for the correct candidate) + a comprehensive benefits package.
