Job description
Our client is a very well respected commercial insurance brokerage with numerous offices across the Yorkshire area. They have a low staff turnover and an enviously high level of client retention, a result of their determination to provide an exceptional level of customer service.
Due to growth, they currently have a role available within their “broking / account handling” team, which can be based from either Leeds of Hull. They work on a relatively flexible basis, a mixture of office and home working if required and place a big emphasis on work /life balance.
In this role, you will be supporting the account executives, assisting them on a wide range of commercial clients of varying size and technical complexity. These could have annual premiums spends from £10k upwards into the £100k’s and above. You will be compiling new business presentations, making amendments, negotiating renewals etc. and will be in regular contact with clients and insurers.
Ideally, you will have at least 4 + years commercial broking experience, with a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. Progress towards CII studies would be beneficial and will be fully supported.
