Fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected independent insurance brokerage in the Cheshire area. In this role, you will work with one of the Account Directors, assisting in providing excellent service, primarily on existing client accounts, to a wide variety of commercial risks, mainly connected to several really interesting scheme areas including an excellent bespoke facility designed for brewery’s and distillery’s. You will be speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis, making amendments to policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. You will also be compiling new business submissions on any new enquiries.
Although this is predominantly a desk based role, there will be plenty of opportunity to attend client visits with the Account Director and independently with a view to developing into a client facing account executive over time, should you wish to go down that route.
Ideal applicants will have a good all round commercial broking background, with a decent understanding of most classes of commercial insurance. You will need to be organised, professional and team oriented with a natural inclination to provide exceptional service to clients.
Progress towards CII studies would be beneficial and will be fully supported, however, it not essential. Previous use of Acturis system would also be appealing.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary up to circa £39k + you will receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes 25 days holiday, company pension and BUPA.
