Fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected and award winning boutique insurance brokerage, based in the Yorkshire area, operating on a home working basis and with a unique business model which creates an enviable level of client retention. Our client is dedicated to running an ethical business with a big emphasis on supporting charities and community projects.
In this role, the ideal candidate will be Yorkshire based, an experienced commercial insurance broker / handler with a good all round technical insurance knowledge + some management experience would be a desirable (not a pre requisite).
You will be allocated your own dedicated client portfolio to run, handling the vast majority independently and working on a team basis on large and more technically complex cases. There may be some client visits from time to time, however, the vast majority of work can be fulfilled via telephone, videoconferencing etc.
The ideal applicant for this role will be comfortable taking on some management responsibilities, assisting the MD in providing support to the team, allocating, checking and assisting with technical referrals and providing a general level of management support.
