This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established and very well respected insurance brokerage. They are headed up, regionally, by a very popular Managing Director, well known for his commitment to work life balance, and providing a working environment which is enjoyable, rewarding and flexible.
This is a dual role, primarily focused on client servicing as well as being involved in new business activity, responding to new enquiries and working with the team to find new opportunities to grow your client portfolio.
On joining the business, you will inherit a book of existing clients, worth circa £100k - £150k income; these are longstanding and loyal clients, an interesting mix of mid-market commercial risks. There is also a pending retirement, therefore the business will be looking at succession planning and the allocation of further clients a little further down the line.
This role is ideally suited to an individual with previous account executive experience and a proven track record in servicing existing clients. It’s also important that are able to identify and react to new business opportunities. You will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, progress towards ACII would be beneficial but not essential.
