A new opportunity has arisen with a very progressive and independent brokerage who are currently seeking a Risk & Compliance Consultant to work with all of their regional offices throughout the South of England, and predominately South East. They identify and evaluate potential risks to which a business is exposed and design effective programmes to protect their clients. All of their clients, irrespective of their size, receive the highest quality advice.
You would be working under the direction of the Head of Compliance to develop, manage, deliver, monitor and report on the broker panels procedures, ensuring that processes are current, accurate and strictly in accordance with FCA Regulations.
What they are looking for: -
- Ideally someone currently in a Compliance Role in a General Insurance Environment, and/or someone with a good working knowledge of FCA Regulation and Conduct Frameworks.
- It is essential that you are a dedicated individual, who wants to grow and develop in the role in order to deliver high levels of customer service and overall be passionate about the purpose of the company.
- It would be desirable, although not essential; if you are have Chartered Insurance Institute qualification and have previous experience in a FCA regulated environment and/or advising SMEs.
- You must be able to work autonomously and on your own initiative, whilst still being an active and enthusiastic member of the team and working to the overall team objectives.
- The ideal candidate would be located in the South, preferably in the M25 M4 corridor with good access to the M25 and surrounding areas, and to other road and rail links, although other locations may be considered for the right candidate.
- A full UK driving licence is essential for the role
Qualifications & Experience: -
- Strong working knowledge of FCA and other regulatory requirements in a General Insurance environment
- Working in a Compliance Consultancy Role within a general insurance/broking environment
- Experience of working in a General Insurance Broking Environment

To be considered for the position you will have previous experience working in a Compliance Monitoring function ideally within an Insurance brokerage and be happy to travel when required.
