Our client is currently recruiting for a Property Risk Control Consultant to join their team. The Property Risk Control Consultant will be primarily responsible for working with large national and multi-national organisations. The main purpose of this role is the provision of risk control consultancy services to their clients. The successful candidate will have experience of undertaking property surveys, be able to understand and report on risk and control measures for fire, perils, theft and Business Interruption, with knowledge of sprinklers being an advantage. They will provide technical advice to their clients on the control of risk and risk management.
This position would be reporting into the Birmingham regional office; however, they would consider candidate based in the North of England down to the South (home working) where you would manage your time effectively.
About the Role
- Your impact as a Property Risk Control Consultant:
- Support client's Risk Control programme.
- Support the broking process.
- Act as liaison between client and insurance companies.
- Undertake site audits and surveys.
- Produce reports on site risks and control measures.
- Produce prioritised recommendations for risk improvements.
- Review, validate and prioritise insurance company and third-party recommendations.
- Provide formal written reports and / or verbal presentations.
- Research and development of technical issues as well as new products and services.
About you
- Property risk control experience and risk management qualifications or relevant accreditations.
- Relevant work experience in the insurance industry.
- Being able to provide leadership on technical matters and contribute on business issues for the rest of the team.
- Experience of working across multiple industry groups.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary up to and around £60k, a car allowance, bonus, attractive pension, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday, including PMI cover.
