Placing Broker / Team Manager - Leeds

Job description

Our client is a quality insurance business with a great team environment. They continue to grow impressively and as a result of this a brand new role has been created which would suite an experienced broker keen to move quickly towards a team management role.

You will be dealing predominately with a general commercial clients paying up to £10k GWP, although there will also be exposure to larger more technical cases when required. This is a full broking role but with an emphasis on placing new cases, often harder to place risks into specialist markets including Lloyds of London.

As well as managing your team and taking a lead on the more technical, harder to place cases, you will be managing insurer relationships; this will involve meeting with key underwriters in London once per month.

Although technically office based there is the opportunity to work on a slightly more flexible office / home basis.
