Placement Broker - Hybrid Working

Our client is a highly regarded commercial insurance wholesale business with a busy and growing Leeds City Centre office. Due to this excellent growth, they have a requirement to appoint two additional placement brokers.
In this role you will be working with key broker partners, assisting them in the placement of a wide variety of commercial insurances, ranging from SME through to larger mid-market and corporate risks of more technically complex nature. The majority of your cases will be placed within the Lloyds market and other speciality insurers with an appetite for “difficult to place” risks.
As well as your ability to identify the correct markets, negotiate and arrange risk placement, there is large element of relationship management, working closely with your brokers to create further new business placement opportunities and to help them to achieve account growth. This could include meeting your brokers and attending networking events etc.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 or more year’s commercial insurance experience, with a natural inclination to enjoy the negotiation and placement element of broking. We are happy to hear from commercial brokers, commercial account handlers or commercial underwriters looking to move across to a broking role.
Although predominately office based, there is an opportunity to work on a flexible basis with some hybrid working. This role comes with an excellent salary of up to circa £40k + a fully comprehensive benefits package.
