We are delighted to have been selected to work with this high quality insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre. This brand new management role has become available with the opportunity to lead a team of commercial brokers / account handlers with a primary focus on new business generation.
The vast majority of leads will be incoming, mainly connected to various introducers and from a significant marketing push. Typical clients will be SME commercial businesses with annual premium spends of up to £10k. Working closely with a number of exclusive schemes, the major insurers and a team of DA Underwriters, you will have major scope in terms of markets in which to place risks.
You will be an important source of motivation to the team, providing dynamic support, working closely with the Directors setting realistic and achievable targets and assisting your team in achieving those targets. This role requires a positive individual able to support the team, identify and implement training etc.
Ideal applicants will have some form of sales management / assistant manager experience, dynamic and friendly in approach, supportive and committed to getting the best out of the team, creating a fun and enjoyable working environment.
Previous commercial insurance experience would be preferred, although we are more than happy to receive applications from individuals from all insurance or professional sales based environments.
