“Home Based” Commercial Account Handler / Broker – Yorkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity suited to individuals who wish to be home based. Our client is a quality insurance broking business with a unique way of working, a loyal UK wide client base and with a low staff turnover. The MD is a fantastic and well respected insurance industry figure, who operates a quality business with “exceptional client service” at the heart of everything they do.
You will be provided with a home office set up, laptop, phone, broadband etc. and be working closely as part of a great team, dealing with a wide variety of commercial and corporate clients; most of your work will be telephone based with regular client Zoom meetings; there is also likely to be situations where you may need to attend client meetings from time to time.
The majority of your work will be dealing with existing clients, providing quality advice, assisting them with any policy amendments, marketing and negotiating renewals and a little bit of new business broking for potential new clients.
Ideal applicants will have a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, ideally having worked previously within broking. Progress towards CII qualifications would be beneficial and ongoing support towards studies provided. Previous use of Acturis is essential. You will be able to work effectively on a remote basis, catching up with colleagues via Zoom and attending team meetings once or twice a month.
