Home Based Account Executive (Equity available)- Newcastle / North East

This role would best suit individuals looking for a more flexible working arrangement where you can set your own diary to suit your lifestyle, have no need to commute and not be called into endless meetings.

You will be building and retaining your own client portfolio with access to all major markets, exclusive scheme arrangements and authority to use “the pen” with a major insurer enabling you to close deals at point of sale without the need to refer.

The primary focus is on general commercial insurance, full office set up is provided including phone, laptop and internet + generous car allowance (£6000).

Full support provided from head office, where you’ll find a team of brokers, account handlers, claims handlers, underwriters and lead generators all set up to assist you.

Ideal applicants will be ambitious and self-motivated with a good knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. Preferably you will have previous experience in a client facing account executive role. Progress towards CII studies is welcomed and supported.

Although this role comes with a good level of salary, benefits and generous car allowance, there is the option to go commission only and earn a much greater income, directly linked to you client portfolio size. You will also be entitled to a equity stake in your own portfolio.
