This is a fantastic opportunity, ideally suited to an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, keen to develop your own client portfolio with an uncapped earning potential. Covering the North West / Manchester area, you will be working closely with a highly successful Account Executive to develop your book of clients.
As a home based Account Executive, you will receive full back office support from the Leeds HQ, which includes broking, admin, claims, DA underwriting on a number of exclusive schemes and telesales support, providing you with quality leads. All client wins will be retained by you as part of your growing portfolio; as your client list grows, you’ll naturally be doing more client management and less new business.
This will be 100% commercial insurance, premiums ranging from £5000 upwards into the £100k+’s, across all sectors, with access to all markets and with a range of highly competitive products available on an exclusive scheme basis with “the pen” to make underwriting decisions independently.
Ideal applicants will be development oriented, excellent communicators, and keen to win new clients and develop long-term client relationships. You will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance and be comfortable meeting with clients on a face to face basis.
We are happy to hear from applicants from a range of backgrounds, with more of an emphasis on attitude and ambition. Perhaps you are an experienced commercial broker or account handler and feel ready to step up into a full account executive position, or you could be in a trainee AE role or maybe a commercial underwriter wanting to move across to the broking side.
This role comes with an excellent salary, commission, full and comprehensive benefits package including home office set up and car allowance and full support towards CII studies. As your client portfolio grows, there is an option to go “commission only”, which would provide a significant uplift in your personal income.
