Corporate Broker / Account Handler – Wakefield Area

Fantastic opportunity hot off the press. Our client, a highly respected and award winning commercial / corporate insurance brokerage currently has an opening for an experience broker / handler to join the team.
In this role you will be working closely with an experienced account executive, providing support and assistance on a portfolio of clients with annual premium spends from £20k to £500k across most classes of commercial insurance.
You will be dealing with some new business enquiries, producing submissions, assisting existing clients with mid-term adjustments, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. You will have regular contact with both clients and insurers and from time to time, it is likely that you will join the AE on client visits.
Ideal applicants will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, be hard working, thorough and positive and with excellent attention to detail. Previous use of Acturis would be beneficial although not essential (training can be provided).
