Fantastic opportunity to join a high quality Yorkshire based insurance brokerage, long established and with a very solid reputation. They boast a low staff turnover and a very high level of client retention earned over many years based on their commitment to providing a very high level of service to their clients.
This company operates on a very flexible basis, currently 2 days from home, 3 from the office as well as being able to provide lots of flexibility and potentially part-time hours if required. They are based in a very nice area in West Yorkshire with plenty of free parking and green space to relax.
In this role you will be supporting the Account Executives on the larger key clients, predominantly focusing on existing cases, making amendments and policy adjustments, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. This will involve speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis and using Acturis system to keep records up to date.
You will also be a focal point where new cases and new business opportunities are concerned, preparing submissions and negotiating with insurers in order to obtain the best possible deal to assist the Account Executives in converting. This part of the role requires an individual who enjoys trading with underwriters and can be effective in securing favourable terms.
Ideal applicants will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance with previous broking experience, great attention to details, confident communication skills and be team oriented. Acturis experience is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
