Job description
This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality independent insurance brokerage dealing with a wide variety of commercial and corporate clients with annual premium spends of £5k to £500k. Although based conveniently in Leeds City Centre, there is plenty of flexibility in terms of being part home / part office based; the Branch MD is very relaxed and focused on providing a balanced and enjoyable working environment.
The role will involve joining a team working with a number of Account executives and Account Directors, assisting them in providing an exceptional level of service to their clients. You will be compiling new business submissions and liaising with clients and insurers, making amendments to existing policies and marketing renewals across multiple composite and specialist markets.
Ideal applicants will be professional in approach, team oriented and with great attention to detail. Previous broking or account handling experience would be preferred along with a decent knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance.
Although we would prefer previous broker experience, we are also more than happy to receive applications from underwriter’s considering moving across into a broking role.
