A very exciting and newly created opportunity has arisen to work in the company’s Leeds city regional office as a Corporate Account Executive.
In terms of your experience to date, the company are quite open to previous experience, so this could be from a technical broking background, claims, underwriting, and ideally with experience of dealing with large Fleet cases. It would be advantageous if you’ve had experience looking after Logistic risks. One of the key factors is being able to really engage with the clients you would be responsible for and communicate effectively on their risk and insurance programmes.
Within this role, you would inherit a book of client in the region of £270K commission income, and there would be the opportunity to grow this further with a vast number of warm new business opportunities, and therefore no cold calling would be a requirement.
You would be focusing mainly on Major Fleet and Haulage/Logistic portfolios, however it could also include other trades and sectors with fee paying clients £20K upwards.
This National Broker opportunity would be to work closely with the team of existing Commercial Broking team, senior management, and the Account Director’s.

Key Responsibilities:
- Builds expands, and solidifies relationships at all levels to address client's needs.
- Drives growth for both existing as well as new clients.
- Performs strategic assessment and negotiates risk transfer/risk financing products and facilitates and reviews submissions in the markets for clients.
- Develops emerging relationships with economic buyers for small to medium size accounts managing medium to large books of business.
- Responsible for some key accounts with fee income around £20k to £100k and overseeing all aspects of servicing and being accountable for all activities
- Placement of some new business (cross sales)
- Preparing and delivering presentations at Company meetings
- Preparing and delivering presentations at Client meetings
