Job description
This is an excellent role with a quality independent commercial insurance brokerage based in the Manchester area. They are very much in growth mode and have appointed numerous talented account executives recently with a focus on new business production.
This role sits within those Account Executives, assisting them in developing new leads via numerous sources including general marketing and campaigns, telesales, referrals, networking, using new and existing data, LinkedIn and social media etc.
The focus is on generating quality leads rather than quantity; you will be researching potential clients, getting in contact, building relationships, managing the sales process, working closely with the account executives to create a “high conversion” system.
Ideal applicants will have a background in business to business sales, with strong communication skills, able to make an impact in a limited amount of time. You will need to be consultative in approach and able to operate with a high level of professionalism in a regulated industry.
Previous experience working within the insurance industry would be preferred but is not essential. We would be happy to hear from marketing / sales professionals from other sectors.
