Our client is a fantastic independent commercial insurance brokerage, a very exciting business with big plans. The business has been growing over the last few years, both organically and by means of some quality and strategic acquisitions. Having dealt with this business for a number of years, the feedback has always been very positive.
This particular role is to work within the commercial SME team, predominately dealing with the large volume of very warm new business leads which are coming in via a variety of smart partnerships and distribution channels, meaning, there will be no outbound or cold calling required.
In this role, you will be speaking to a wide variety of potential clients on a daily basis, mainly smaller businesses with an annual premium spend of up to £10k, although there could be some larger cases to work on. You will be taking the risk details and going to market to source the best possible deals, both in terms of quality of cover and competitiveness of premium.
Ideal applicants will have previous commercial insurance experience, this could be broking, underwriting or claims. Previous use of Acturis would beneficial, but not essential (system training can be provided).
Our client currently operates on a part office / part home basis, although the office is permanently open for those who prefer to be 100% office based.
