Job description
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded independent insurance brokerage conveniently located in a very appealing corner of Leeds City Centre. This is a well-established business with a low staff turnover able to offer a great working environment.
You will be predominately dealing with commercial clients, a mixture of managing your own small client portfolio and assisting the account executives and account directors with their larger, and more technically complex clients. There will also be a small number of private client / HNW policies to deal with.
In this varied role, you will be assisting with new business submissions, making amendments to existing policies and be involved with marketing and negotiating renewals. There will be quite a lot of client and insurer interaction so it’s important that you enjoy communicating.
Ideal applicants will have at least 12 months or more commercial insurance broking or account handling experience; you will be smart, professional and a team player with a natural inclination to provide your clients with exceptional customer service.
This role comes with an excellent salary of up to £30k + comprehensive benefits. ACII studies will be fully supported and ongoing training will be provided (on the job and with the option to attend insurer courses etc.).
