Job description
Our client is a major insurer with a highly successful direct broking arm. Due to exciting growth several opportunities have become available within the sales team.
This is a home based role with a focus exclusively on general commercial clients, a mixture of business development and client servicing.
You will be managing your own geographical region with full support from head office in terms of broking, administration and client management.
Working to a realistic and achievable target, you will be developing a pipeline of opportunities with full control of your own prospect database; which will be a mixture of creating your own leads as well as leads, referrals and recommendations provided from HQ.
Ideal applicants with have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance and a proven track record in developing relationships from initial contact through to longer term client servicing. You will have excellent communication skills, be confident negotiating and presenting + have excellent telephone and face to face sales skills.
Although you will have full administrative support, you will be required to compile initial reports using Acturis system (previous use preferred but not essential).
You will be well organised and able to work to tight deadlines. Excellent Salary available + company car, bonus, laptop, company mobile and a full and comprehensive beneftis package.
