Commercial Claims Technician - Leeds (Hybrid Working)

Job description
This is an excellent, brand new role, which has been created due to the growth of this forward thinking business. You will be joining their Leeds City Centre team, dealing with a wide variety of commercial claims, largely property based, as well as other commercial losses.
On a day to day basis, you will be handling commercial claims from inception through to settlement and payment. This includes managing the claims process, processing information, policy checking, handling queries, settling claims, handling payments etc.
As well as this, you may be required to assist in mentoring lesser experienced team members and trainees, assist with some training and supporting direct reports.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years’ experience dealing with commercial and /or property claims, either in a broker, insurer or adjusting environment. Previous knowledge of dealing with “London Market” would also be beneficial.
Although based in Leeds City Centre, there is plenty of “home working” available for those who require flexibility. As it stands the minimum requirements is 2 days per week in the office.
This role comes with a salary of circa £32k + a comprehensive benefits package.
