Fantastic opportunity with a quality commercial insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from the station. This is a brand new role, which has been created due to growth and requires an experienced individual with both commercial claims and management experience.
In this role, you will manage a small and growing team, dealing exclusively with commercial claims. As Team Manager, you will take a lead on larger and more complex losses; this could involve client meetings to discuss new and ingoing claims, pre-renewals meeting to advise on claims management and assisting the Account Executives from time to time at new business meetings.
As Manager, you will be involved in insurers meetings, presenting and discussing claims data, with the responsibility to identify and change procedures where necessary. You will be acting as referral point to the lesser experienced claims handlers, identifying training requirements, doing one to ones etc.
Ideal applicant will be experienced commercial claims handers / executives or managers with a good all round commercial insurance knowledge and experience of managing staff. Some client facing claims work would also be beneficial.
Having dealt with this business for many years, they have a great reputation, operate a professional, friendly and enjoyable working environment with flexibility. They currently work on a 3 days in, 2 days from home basis and tend to have a good focus on work/life balance.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary of up to circa £45k (may be flexible dependent on experience) + a comprehensive benefits package.
