Job description
This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected independent commercial insurance brokerage in the North Manchester area, working closely with the extremely likeable and dynamic Claims Team Manager and a number of Account Executives.
You will be dealing with all commercial claims, not just an administrative function; this is a very hands on role and requires regular contact with clients, insurers, and adjusters etc. to ensure that client’s claims are being effectively handled and brought to a positive conclusion.
You will be dealing with claims from inception through to settlement and need to be comfortable analysing and interpreting policy wording and challenging insurers where required. Although this is mainly an office based role, there may be a need to visit clients with the Account Executives from time to time to discuss claims / claims prevention etc.
We are happy to hear from experienced commercial claims handlers or executives from either broking, insurer or adjuster backgrounds, ideally with a knowledge of cross class commercial claims and with a dynamic approach.
