Job description
Our client is a high quality independent commercial insurance brokerage, Yorkshire based, long established and boast a very low staff turnover and enviable level of long-term client retention. Due to growth, they have opened up two brand new roles within their commercial broking team.
In this role, you manage a team of commercial brokers / account handlers, working closely with the Account Executives and Account Directors, with the aim to provide an exceptional level of service. As team leader, you will be responsible for allocating work, assisting the lesser experienced team members, identifying and implementing any training requirements as well as working on some of the larger cases.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will also have some involvement in the strategic development of the business with an emphasis on broking support, service standards and assisting in highlighting areas for improvement or additional investment.
This role will be ideally suited to an applicant, with previous commercial broking and management or team leader experience, or perhaps you’re a senior broker ready to take on more responsibility and a leadership role? Whichever you are, we would be happy to hear from you.
