Fantastic opportunity to join a quality independent commercial insurance brokerage in a senior position. Working closely with a highly respected Branch Director you will oversee the broking team, providing excellent support to a team of account executives on mainly mid-market commercial risks and a smaller element of larger corporate (no SME).
Our client is able to offer hybrid working and an element of flexibility depending on your experience and distance from the office. Obviously, being in a position of authority, you will need to be in the office at least 2 or 3 times per week in order to manage the team.
The team is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to existing clients, making amendments to policies, inviting and negotiating renewal terms and to certain extent, working on new business cases. Although primarily desk based, there may be occasions where you will be attending client visits with the AE’s.
Ideal applicants will have at least 3 + years commercial insurance broking experience, with exposure to mid-market general commercial risks, some management or Team Leader / Deputy Team Leader experience and previous use of Acturis system. As the Team Manager, you will be leading by example, assisting the lesser experienced members of the team, identifying and implementing training and development and taking a lead on larger more complex cases. Progress towards ACII would be preferred and will be fully supported.
