Commercial Broker / Relationship Manager - West Yorkshire
Posted: 06 January 2023
Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a quality chartered insurance brokerage, fully independent and experiencing an exciting period of growth. They offer a flexible working arrangement, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, and are conveniently located with plenty of parking and close to bus and train stops.
In this role you will be working with a number of account executives, based throughout the UK, assisting them with the broking of commercial risks of all shapes and sizes with annual premiums from £10k into the £100k’s. It is essential that you have a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, are a confident communicator and have great attention to detail.
As well as being involved in the broking and general client management, you will also work closely with the AE’s as a relationship manager, holding regular meetings to ensure that they receive the full support required, both in terms of ongoing client retention and assisting them in achieving account growth.
Having worked with this well regarded insurance brokerage on a regular basis for many years, it is fair to say that they offer an excellent working environment, nice modern offices, a great team of quality professionals (focused on career, not office politics); they boast a low staff turnover and a high rate of client retention.
As a chartered broker, they are keen to ensure that they provide full support to all staff wanting to make progress towards CII qualifications. Previous use of Acturis would be beneficial, however, full system training can be provided.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary, full benefits includes pension and private medical insurance. There is also an opportunity to earn a bonus. In terms of career progression, they prefer to promote from within and are focused on providing a culture where you can continuously develop at your own speed.
