Job description
Our client is an excellent independent insurance brokerage in the Leeds area; they are long established and have a very solid reputation. They have continued to experience impressive growth despite the Covid situation and have been recruiting across all areas of the business.
This particular role requires an experienced commercial account handler / broker to join the team working with the account executives providing excellent support on a wide variety of commercial clients as well as looking after your own client portfolio.
You will be dealing with new and existing business, putting together insurance programmes, making amendments and negotiating renewal terms.
Our client is keen to empower its staff to work independently without any form of micro management; this role will suit individuals looking for a professional and enjoyable working environment with lots of career progression.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience with a good all round knowledge of most classes of business, some progress towards CII qualifications would be beneficial and studies will be fully supported.
Previous use of Acturis would be preferred although not essential (full training will be provided). Our client is operating a very flexible working environment, either office, home based or a combination and will continue to work on a flexible basis after the Covid Crisis has ended.
