This is an excellent opportunity to join a very well respected commercial insurance brokerage, located very conveniently in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from major public transport hubs. This role has been created purely due to growth and provides an opportunity to join a settled team dealing with mid-market and some corporate risks.
On a daily basis you will be assisting the Account Executives (who are remote based all over the UK), dealing with their clients. This is very much a much a mid-market and corporate role; clients with annual premium spends of £10k upwards, some into the £100k’s (all clients with a dedicated account executive).
On a daily basis, you will be liaising with clients, insurers, account executives and working with your colleagues to provide a high level of customer service. Mainly dealing with existing clients, making amendments to policies, marketing and negotiating renewals. There will be a little bit of new business activity, assisting the account executives in compiling new business submissions and negotiating with insurers.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial broking / handling experience, either dealing with mid-market cases, or perhaps you are currently dealing with smaller cases and feel that you’re at the point where you want to make a step up into a more technically challenging role.
Currently our client is working on a 3 days in, 2 days from home basis. The office environment is really good, professional and friendly with a good social scene.
