This is a superb opportunity to join a fiercely independent chartered insurance brokerage based in the East Leeds area. They have been growing significantly over the last few years, which has seen a number of brand new job openings created. The business has a low staff turnover and is able to offer plenty of a stability, part home working and lots of flexibility.

In this role, you will join a well-established team, dealing with a wide variety of commercial insurance risks, mainly mid-market to corporate, assisting the account executive on securing rates for new business enquiries, making amendments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. 

This role will involve lots of client and insurer contact and provides you with the opportunity to deal with a wide variety of interesting commercial clients, and to develop your technical insurance expertise; you will be fully supported towards CII studies. Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, but is not essential.

This client has a modern and appealing office with plenty of parking available. They are keen to push for a good work / life balance and currently work on a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home basis. They are well known for promoting from within and so can provide genuine long-term career progression.
