Great opportunity to join a very well respected Leeds City Centre based commercial insurance brokerage in their commercial team. This client works on a 3 days in / 2 days from home basis and is conveniently located a short walk from the station.  

This is a settled team, I have placed people here in the past and the feedback has been excellent; the team leader is a great person, very fair, professional and friendly (no ego). The team deals with exclusively commercial insurance clients, both on a broking and support basis on behalf of the account executives and in the running of an exclusive delegated authority scheme, with which our client has “the pen”.

You will be involved in assisting with new business submissions, making amendments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. As well as this you will be calculating premiums, and liaising with insurers where the underwriting facility throws up referrals. Cases are likely to be anywhere from £5000 to £500k.

Ideal applicants will either have commercial broking, account handling or underwriting experience, previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, and as would progress towards CII qualification (this will also be fully funded).
