This is an excellent opportunity to join a really good business, conveniently located in Leeds City Centre. We have worked with this commercial insurance brokerage for many years and the feedback has always been really positive. 

They provide an enjoyable and professional environment with a great team ethic. Currently working on a flexible basis, 2 days from home, 3 days from the office, they are a short walk from the station in a very appealing and modern office.

This role is a combination of commercial account handling, supporting the account executives with their clients AND underwriting, working on an exclusive commercial insurance scheme, calculating premiums, liaising with the account executives and referring cases to the insurers where they fall outside of your underwriting authority.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 or more years insurance experience, preferably commercial insurance, either broking or underwriting. You will have an analytical approach, able to look at risks and accurately calculate premiums. You will also be a good communicator, happy speaking to the account executives, clients and insurers on a regular basis.

Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, however, not essential (training can be provided). ACII studies will be fully supported for those who wish to pursue this.
