This is an excellent opportunity with a long established independent commercial insurance brokerage based on the outskirts of Leeds.
This is a great role for an experienced broker / handler looking for an opportunity with a number of key areas of responsibility. Working just beneath the Broking Director, you will be a senior member of the team able to pick up and run with a variety of larger commercial clients as well as acting as technical referral point to the lesser experienced team members on their more complicated cases.
You will also be working with a number of account executives assisting them in placing more complex risks; ideally you will have a great all round commercial insurance knowledge and a good network of insurer contacts.
It would be highly beneficial for you to have a strong knowledge of Acturis system and be able to work with the senior team on improving existing documents and creating new ones where necessary. You would potentially become the company “Super User” and take charge of system training.
Applicants will have at least 5 years previous commercial broking experience, a good all round commercial insurance knowledge and making progress towards CII qualifications (which will be fully supported).
