Job description
Our client is a medium sized independent chartered insurance brokerage, mainly specialising in commercial insurance, however, they also have a thriving private client’s team. They have a very low staff turnover and significantly high client retention based on providing excellent service to their loyal client base.
They are currently looking to appoint an additional “Commercial Broker / Account Handler” to deal with mainly existing clients, some independently and some larger cases in conjunction with an Account Executive. You will be speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis, placing risks, making amendments, negotiating renewals etc.
Ideal applicants will have at least 12 to 24 months minimum commercial insurance experience, be very client focused and enjoy working in a busy team environment with great attention to detail.
Although it would be preferred for staff to be office based, there is an element of flexibility between office and home working subject to applicants personal requirements.
