Job description
This is an excellent opportunity with a dynamic independent Leeds based insurance brokerage and has come about due to growth. Our client is a chartered broker with really nice modern offices, although the current working pattern is flexible and will continue to be so going forward.
This is a dual role and will involve working with 2 teams, assisting the account executives (some remote) in broking their commercial clients, of which some will be relatively straight forward as well as there being larger, more technically complex cases. As well as this, you will be assisting the direct team with account handling duties as well as broking cases and handing your own cases. This role would suit someone who loves to be busy and enjoys to have a wide variety of taks ongoing.
Ideal applicants will have at least 3+ years commercial insurance experience and a good working knowledge of most commercial classes of business. As well as being an organised account handler, our client would like to appoint an individual who enjoys the broking element of the role, negotiating with insurers, developing strong insurer relationships etc.
Progress towards CII studies would be preferred and will be fully supported and is encouraged. Previous use of Acturis system would be preferred.
