Commercial Account Handler – North Bradford

Job description
Our client is a successful independent commercial insurance brokerage, with their HQ located in the North Bradford area. Due to impressive growth, they have created a brand new role within their commercial broking / account handling team.
In this role, you will be focusing on a mixture of general commercial clients as well as working on a number of interesting commercial insurance schemes. You will be able to take full ownership of your allocated SME commercial clients, providing support on MTA’s and marketing and negotiating renewals, and you will be working closely with an Account Executive on a number of larger, more technically complex cases.
Although mainly office based, there is flexibility and the opportunity to work partly from home if required and we are open to applicants wanting to work part-time, preferably a minimum of 4 days per week.
Ideal applicants will have at least 18 to 24 months commercial insurance broking experience and have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. You will be smart, professional and enjoy working in a team oriented environment. You will be in regular contact with clients and insurers, so it is essential that you enjoy the communication aspect of the role.
In terms of career progression, all staff are fully supported to pursue CII qualification, if you feel that’s an option for you and the business is structured in a way that provides ample opportunity to shadow the account executives on client visits.
