Job description
Our client is a fiercely independent commercial insurance brokerage based in the North Newcastle area. They have been established many years and boast a low staff turnover and high client retention. Their ethos is to focus on developing close and longstanding relationships with their clients, with a commitment to going above and beyond to provide an exceptional level of service.
Due to growth they have created a brand new role within their commercial team. This will involve dealing with a wide variety of commercial insurance clients, ranging from some SME policies through to mid-market and larger, supporting the Account Executives and Account Directors, assisting with new business submissions, making amendments, marketing and negotiating renewals etc.
Ideal applicants will have previous commercial insurance experience, preferably within broking, and with a decent all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. Progress towards CII qualification would be advantageous and will be fully supported (not essential though).
