Job description
This is a brand new role with a longstanding and highly regarded independent insurance brokerage in the Newcastle area. They are very conveniently located with lots of parking available within walking distance of the office.
They are professional and friendly; our client has a very low staff turnover and well known for a providing a secure and enjoyable working environment.
You will be dealing with a mixture of SME and mid-market clients, some of which you will handle independently, on larger cases you will be assisting the Account Executives.
Day to day, you will be compiling some new business submissions, the primary focus will be on existing clients, making amendments and mid-term adjustments, marketing and negotiating renewal terms etc. There will be plenty of client and insurer contact, so communication skills are important.
Applicants will have at least 12 months or more commercial insurance experience, ideally gained within a broking environment. You will be team oriented with good attention to details and keen to join a business that is heavily client oriented.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary and a full benefits package. Although predominantly office based, once settled in, they are more than happy to provide working flexibility.
