Commercial Account Handler - Leeds City Centre

Our client is a long established and well respected commercial insurance brokerage based conveniently in Leeds City Centre. They have grown nicely over the past few years with a focus on quality over price and have a loyal client base and an enviable client retention.

Due to this growth the need has arisen to appoint additional broker / handler with a primary focus on commercial clients paying premiums of between £1000 up to £100k; there will also be a very small amount of HMW clients as part of the portfolio.

You will be supporting a number of account executives and account directors as well as taking ownership of your own client base, providing an exceptional level of service. This will involve new and existing business, speaking to clients and insurers on a regular basis and building excellent working relationships.

Ideal applicants will have a background dealing with commercial clients and be confident dealing with new enquiries, making amendment and assisting existing clients mid-term as well as marketing renewals. Progress towards CII qualification would be beneficial and will be fully supported.

Our client is based in a very appealing location in Leeds City Centre very close to the railway station (very short walk). The business will be moving to Acturis very soon and so previous Acturis experience would be appealing but not essential.
