This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic independent insurance brokerage conveniently located in Leeds City Centre. Our client has experienced tremendous growth despite the pandemic and continues to add to its talented workforce.
This role will be based from their fantastic Leeds city centre office, although, currently there is a very flexible working arrangement, with a mixture of home and office working, depending on the needs of the individuals.
You will join a great team of professionals providing broking and account handling support to a network of account executives based all over the UK. This will involve dealing with commercial combined insurance clients connected to a specific sector, assisting in new business submissions, mta’s and marketing renewals. Clients will vary in size and technical complexity and could be anything from a smaller case paying £5k to larger cases paying into the hundreds of thousands.
Although predominately office based, there may be the need from time to time to assist the account executives on client visits.
Ideal applicants will have at least 12 months commercial insurance knowledge, previous broking or underwriting experience and have used Acturis system (although training will be provided). Progress towards CII studies will also be beneficial and will be fully supported.
