Our client, an excellent commercial insurance brokerage located in a very appealing corner of Leeds City Centre, currently has a brand new job opening within their Commercial Account Handling team.
This is an office based role, joining a really nice team; a friendly and professional environment, Monday to Friday (no weekends). In this role you will be dealing with a 50/50 split of SME commercial clients and larger mid-market commercial clients, assisting the Account Executives, liaising with clients and insurers on a daily basis.
You will have some involvement in new business (preparing submissions) and negotiating premiums and cover, however, the vast majority of your work will be dealing with existing clients, making amendments, marketing, negotiating and preparing renewal terms. There will also be a small amount of high net worth business (household, motor, antiques, fine art etc.) which is connected to the commercial client’s portfolio.
Ideal applicants will have at least 12 months or more commercial broking or account handling experience, some prior use of Acturis would be desirable and progress towards CII qualifications (which will be fully supported). You will be smart, professional and team oriented and with a natural inclination to provide a high level of service to your clients.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary of up to circa £28k per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package and genuine career development.
